S. N. O’Flake fell from top the Springfield Block in Cairo and struck his face on the sidewalk and died.  He was a very near relative of W. E. T. Rains and John F. Rest of Cairo.

A Negro convicted of murder of Mr. William Griffith at Memphis was to have been executed at Fort Pickering, Memphis, on Saturday.

Martin Coody was stabbed to death at the corner of 19^th and Commercial in Cairo.  He was a boarder at Mr. Callahan’s on Commercial Avenue.
